Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information & Updates (as of 4-8-2020)

Infinite Health is taking social distancing very seriously because the research shows it is extremely effective at reducing the spread of a virus during a pandemic. We are offering virtual appointments so you don’t have to physically come into the office. If you have an upcoming visit that you would like to change to a virtual appointment, call our office at 704-626-6771. Additionally, we are offering curbside pick-up for supplements on our back porch. Our office phones will remain open during normal business hours for any questions or concerns. Below are some tips and resources that I thought you would find helpful in keeping your family safe and healthy during this time. Please be aware, the situation with Coronavirus (COVID-19) is rapidly evolving (even as I write this) and as a result, all of the information on this page is subject to change at any time.

Prevention

We are recommending that our families continue to take all of the regular foundational supplements that we use in our clinic, plus some additional COVID-19 supports. I created a video outlining these recommendations here. Other reminders:

  • Wash hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds — a good rule of thumb: singing Mary Had a Little Lamb or Happy Birthday (two times) takes approximately 20 seconds.
  • Avoid touching eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands.
  • Social distancing – keep a distance of 6 feet or more between you and anyone with symptoms. The virus passes primarily through saliva and mucus, which can travel from a person’s nose or mouth about 3 to 5 feet, depending upon the size of the droplet.
  • The virus can survive on hard surfaces such as plastic and stainless steel for up to 72 hours and on cardboard for up to 24 hours.
  • Avoid contact with people who are sick or who have traveled to one of the CDC designated level 2 or 3 countries.
  • Stay home while sick and avoid close contact with others.
  • Cover mouth and nose with a tissue (or inside of elbow) when coughing or sneezing, then throw the tissue in the trash and wash hands.
  • Clean and disinfect surfaces in your home that are touched frequently.

One-Time Virtual Visits

Our practice is normally a year-long membership. However, due to the current pandemic, I have decided to offer one-time virtual visits for the next 60 days for those of you who would like to make sure you are doing all that you can to support your child’s immune system. The investment is $500 and includes:

  1. My assessment of your child’s medical history (form to be filled out at least 3 days prior to the visit so I have time review it prior to our time together).
  2. A discussion about the current most important aspect of your child’s health.
  3. My recommendations for foods and supplements that are best for your child. We will create a customized plan during the visit that will be typed and emailed to you.
  4. Answers to your questions regarding the plan.
  5. Lifetime access to my online course 7 STEPS TO HEALTHY KIDS HAPPY MOMS™ ($497 value)

If we determine there may be an underlying issue where lab testing is needed, we will discuss the monthly option of our year-long membership.

These visits are ideal for kids who are generally healthy or may have one of the following that is under good control: eczema, recurrent ear or sinus infections, asthma, allergies, abdominal pain, constipation or loose stools, inflammatory bowel disease (crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis), or celiac disease. If your child has one of these conditions that is not under good control, we can still do the consult, but I may suggest further testing and you can consider enrollment into the monthly option of our year-long program.

These single visits are not ideal for children with a chronic underlying medical condition such as: serious neurologic issues (Seizure disorder, PANDAS, anxiety, depression) genetic abnormalities, or other serious chronic diseases (kidney disease, heart disease).
